Voluntary donation for Meetup fees 2025

Hi everyone,

We have to pay Meetup fees of 215 $ (USD) every 6 months, to use the website (https://help.meetup.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001620472).

To fund this, we are asking members to consider making a voluntary donation of £3 per member before the New Year. Please note that PayPal adds charges on top of this, usually amounting to about 70p per donation, so the amount charged usually ends up being about £3.70.

If you would like to donate, please RSVP for this event and we can automatically collect the money via a PayPal transaction.

We're posting this as an event on both the climbing and the walking group, so if you are a member of both and wish to donate, you only need to do it once.

Note that if you don't have a PayPal account and still wish to donate £3, you can still pay by credit or debit card via PayPal. The reason we do it this way is because we don't have a group bank account; we only have a PayPal account.
