Indoor climbing at Above Adventure, Kilmarnock

This Meeup is open to anyone aged 18 or over who can competently do top rope climbing and belaying. The aim is to get people together to do some top rope climbing in Above Adventure’s new roped climbing area, either in pairs or groups of three. Cost of admission to the centre is £10.
TIME AND LOCATION
We’ll meet at 6.45pm at Above Adventure in Kilmarnock just inside the roped climbing area, near the door (without cluttering the entrance). The centre is open until 9pm.
IMPORTANT
If you haven’t done roped climbing at Above Adventure before, please arrive early enough to complete your registration and climbing/belay test first. You’ll need to do this even if you are an experienced climber, if it’s your first time doing roped climbing at Above Adventure.
The registration form can be completed either at the centre or on their website AND you will also have to undergo an in-person test of your ability to belay and climb safely using a rope.
Climbing shoes/harness can be hired from Above Adventure if you don’t already have them or forget to bring them.
