Sunny's Second Full House Completion - Tinto Hill

Within easy reach of the cities of the central belt and with an isolated position away from the other Border's hills, Tinto is an extremely popular and straightforward hill. The summit has a huge bronze age cairn and commands superb views.

A Full House completion means reaching the summit of all hills in six categories recorded by the Scottish Mountaineering Club (SMC): Munros, Munro Tops, Corbetts, Grahams, Donalds, and Furths. This is Sunny's second one!

The Scottish Hillwalking and Activities Group recognises that hill walking, scrambling and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.

LIFTS/MEETUP TIME
Those attending will be meeting at Tinto hill car park

at 9:30 and the walk will start at 10am with a small celebration at the summit around noon.

Afterwards there will be a dinner and Ceillidh at Elphinstone hotel.
