Another attempt at doing the Paps of Jura route.It involves walking on a loose scree and bouldery terrain.As this is a difficult route and time bound it's only suitable for experienced hill-walkers.I'm staying on Islay for a couple of days and travelling round the island .

Time: estimated 9/10 hours
SUITABILITY
You must have the fitness and stamina to complete the walk without difficulty. We will walk as a group at a moderate pace.
You are responsible for deciding if this event is suitable for you, coming adequately prepared and looking after yourself on the walk. If there's any questions about suitability, please contact the organiser.
CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT
You must ensure that you come adequately prepared for this walk with hillwalking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes, gloves and hat and food and water.

We will meet at the Port Askaig car park on Islay for 7.30,car share on the ferry to Feolin 7.55.It takes about 20 minutes to drive to our walk start point
