An Aberfoyle wander, Craig Of Monievreckie 400m, a little summit and trig point hidden away in the Menteith hills.

It's a nice start from the village, onto the Rob Roy way. The Walk highlands report & route below includes a short diversion to a really nice viewpoint to the west of our hill, if the group fancies we can include it.

Meet in front of the Scottish Wool Centre in the large, free Riverside car park (there's parking in front of & behind the Wool centre) https://maps.app.goo.gl/yTVJThSqCJqbAtwH8

Craig is...... a Marilyn, 'any hill or mountain in the UK or Ireland, with a drop of at least 150m on all sides'. The Marilyn list was devised in the early 1990s by Alan Dawson who stated that the name was a pun on the munros & film stars name.... Marilyn Munroe. For anyone interested in the list; Marilyn Bagging List + Marilyns GPS Waypoints

Planning to go for a coffee in the Wool Centre or Station cafe maybe? after walk.

Dog Friendly. For any queries on the day 07901 987769.
