Lovely walk from Strathyre which takes you onto the old railway line and rises up a steep woodland pathway onto an open area which leads firstly to An Sidhean giving a lovely view to Loch Lubnaig .From there we follow a faint trail to Beinn an T-Sithein which provides great views of the surrounding Munros and Corbetts in the Trossachs area.Heading North we descent down to a forest trail and take this back to our start point.After the walk we can enjoy a tea or coffee in the local area
TERRAIN
Trail walking for the first part of the route,steep to begin with before levelling out onto An Sidhean,this can be a boggy approach.Next section has a faint trail,once again can be wet underfoot.Once we drop down it's forest trails for the return section.

SUITABILITY
If you have a habit of putting your name down for walks and don't turn up or cancelling at the last minute don't sign up for the walk.You must have the fitness and stamina to complete the walk without difficulty. We will walk as a group at a moderate pace.
You are responsible for deciding if this event is suitable for you, coming adequately prepared and looking after yourself on the walk. If there's any questions about suitability, please contact the organiser.
CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT
You must ensure that you come adequately prepared for this walk with hillwalking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes, gloves and hat and food and water.

We will meet at the car- park at the edge of Strathyre close to the Broch cafe.If you need a lift please use the comments box below to ask for one.If receiving a lift, agree beforehand with your driver how you're splitting costs, share contact details and keep car tidy.
