A walk to burn off the turkey and mince pies Christmas excess.Alternative route from the usual to Meikle Bin starting from Queenzieburn.
TERRAIN
Starting from the Community Hall it's a gradual uphill route on tarmac and ATV trails up to the reservoir.From that point we follow a faint trail crossing over a burn,level is usually low and go over a short fence.Next section takes us down to a forest area,can be boggy after wet weather,another trail takes us through the wooded area and on to an open area leading up to the summit hill.

CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT
You must ensure that you come adequately prepared for this walk with hillwalking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes, gloves and hat and food and water.

We will meet at the car- park at Queenzieburn Community Hall.If you need a lift please use the comments box below to ask for one.If receiving a lift, agree beforehand with your driver how you're splitting costs, share contact details and keep car tidy.
