A place holder- hoping for frozen/firm conditions on the day due to the Duncolm bog 😳 🌊 😀.

Meet at Eden Mill Farm car park; https://maps.app.goo.gl/AGhAF7M1M5TPGWZd6 and walk to the Whangie, Auchinedin top then along Burncrooks reservoir to Duncolm hill top and back along the reservoir. A bit of fun and a good workout. The Whangie is definitely worth checking out;

Dogs- welcome however there are parts of route indicating on lead (Sheep and Llamas nearby !) and also the Cafe does not allow dogs.

Eden Mill is very busy now at weekends and so good to visit on a weekday.

Well worn track/paths though very boggy in places.

The Scottish Hillwalkers and Activities Group recognises that hill walking, scrambling and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.

**PACE**
You must have the fitness and stamina to complete the walk without difficulty. We will walk as a group at a moderate pace.

**CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT**
You must ensure that you come adequately prepared for this walk, with hillwalking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes, extra gloves and hat and food and water.

**WEATHER FORECAST**

Please remember to check the website the night before the walk - if the weather forecast is very bad we may change or cancel the walk, or move it to a different day.

**LIFTS/MEETUP TIME**
We will meet at the car park to start walking at 8.30 am.

If you need a lift please use the comments box below to ask for one. Car sharing is friendly and reduces cars on road and in parking places.

**Please arrive ready to walk and we will only wait for 5 minutes before leaving.**

Do ensure you give adequate warning if you decide not to come on the walk.

**GROUP ETHOS**
Please remember the organiser is not the leader of the walk - we walk AS A GROUP. If you don't like the sound of that, perhaps this walk is not for you :-)
