A popular walk which follows part of the Ancient Roman Antonine Wall and the forts of Bar Hill and Croy Hill and a return to the start point along the Forth & Clyde Canal pathway.After the walk we can enjoy tea/coffee stop at the Auchinstarry Marina.
TERRAIN
A good trail for most of the route however parts of the walk coming off Castle Hill are steep and can be boggy.

SUITABILITY
If you have a habit of putting your name down for walks and don't turn up or cancelling at the last minute don't sign up for the walk.You must have the fitness and stamina to complete the walk without difficulty. We will walk as a group at a moderate pace.
You are responsible for deciding if this event is suitable for you, coming adequately prepared and looking after yourself on the walk. If there's any questions about suitability, please contact the organiser.
CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT
You must ensure that you come adequately prepared for this walk with hillwalking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes, gloves and hat and food and water.
