A second cycle route to try and improve fitness and enjoy some great loch views.

From the Wool centre we'll take the Statute Labour Road track with a wee diversion along lochan Spling. The route is waymarked and has mainly at toughest, small inclines and declines nothing steep. It continues past Loch Ard,
Loch Chon to Stronlachar, Loch Katrine.

There's a cafe on the pier at Stronlachar which we'll aim for but i think with the Bank holiday wkend etc, it'll be too busy- and so we'll need to pack a lunch, water etc. We'll get a rest there anyway and more rest stops planned on way out and back.

On route back to Aberfoyle, to avoid lol said wee inclines, planning part of the B829 road. The road is a dead end at Stronlachar and so it's never too busy, with wide single track mainly and good recently resurfaced sections. As always care required.

We can enjoy a coffee/food later at the Wool centre or nearby.

Meet outside the Wool Centre, there's parking in front of and another large car park behind it.

A mountain or gravel bike is recommended, a resilient hybrid is possible too.

For any queries on day i'm on 07901 987769.
