Amble up Glen Striddle Horseshoe (Beinn Dubh), Luss
Details
A new type of walk - ambles, slow pace, a chilled out walk, short walk, not too far, not too high.
Accessible by public transport via the Ember bus to Luss. I'm travelling from Glasgow Buchanan Street bus station and I'll be on this bus 08:00 am from Glasgow which arrives at 09:00 am. (Ember is an electric bus which you pre-book on this website https://www.ember.to/ ) There is a car park at Luss however it can be expensive.
Walk Details
The circuit of the hills above Glen Striddle makes an excellent short hillwalk. The ascent up the grassy ridge rising from Luss is a delight and the views over Loch Lomond and towards the Arrochar Alps are superb.
