The Time Traveler's Wife — Book to Movie Brunch Discussion

Join us for our June meeting of Books to Screen: Women’s Brunch Club, a women-only brunch book club in Scottsdale focused on books that have been adapted for film or TV.
Our June selection is The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, a deeply emotional and imaginative love story that blends romance, science fiction, and the complexities of time itself. The novel follows Henry, a man with a rare genetic condition that causes him to travel unpredictably through time, and Clare, the woman who loves him through every version of his life. Tender, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking, The Time Traveler’s Wife explores fate, memory, longing, and what it truly means to grow together through time.
Along with the book, we’ll also discuss its screen adaptation, The Time Traveler's Wife, starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana. Together, we’ll explore how the film captures the novel’s emotional depth, nonlinear storytelling, and unforgettable relationship at its center.

### 📍 How to Find the Group

Once you arrive at Little Snitch:

• Look for a table with the book on it
• The organizer will arrive early to help everyone find the group
• You can message through Meetup if needed
• Since Little Snitch is counter-service style (you order first, then get seated), I’d recommend arriving about 10 minutes early if possible to get in line and place your order before we begin.
  And feel free to join the group in line instead of everyone waiting separately.
