Please join us for a fun afternoon together on Friday, April 24th!
We’ll start with the 1:00 p.m. showing of Michael at the Harkins 101 Movie Theater on Mayo Boulevard in Scottsdale.

After the movie, we’ll head to White Chocolate Grill for Happy Hour at 3:15 p.m. where we can relax, enjoy some food and drinks, and talk about the film together.

About the Movie:
Michael is the highly anticipated new biographical film about the life of Michael Jackson, the legendary “King of Pop.” The movie follows his journey from his early days performing with the Jackson 5 to his rise as one of the most influential and iconic entertainers in music history. The film explores his extraordinary talent, groundbreaking performances, and the personal challenges he faced along the way.

After the movie, we’ll continue the conversation at happy hour—sharing our thoughts about the film and enjoying time together.

This money is returnable to you at the event with your name tag.

If there is a good reason for your delay in paying, including sending a check, send me a note in the comments or a private message.

1. If you are on the waitlist, do not send any money until you clear. It is your responsibility to make sure your notifications are on and to check your emails when you know you are waitlisted. Payment should be made within 6 hours of clearing the wait list, or you will be moved back to the bottom of the waitlist or to not going. Reminders to pay will not be sent.

2. PLEASE KEEP YOUR RESPONSES UPDATED, INCLUDING THE WAITLIST. Remove yourselves when you can no longer attend.

Beginner, easy elevation happy hike

Join us at the clubhouse at the home of our lovely host Amy Khedouri for a relaxed and social afternoon of Rummikub, plus great conversation and lots of laughs.

Rummikub is easy to learn and fun to play. It's a tile based game with similarities to rummy and mahjong.

Time: 1:30–3:30 PM

The community center is located immediately after the gate, with two parking areas on either side of the building.
The Overlook is directly behind the Mayo Clinic, about one long block north of Shea Boulevard.
Note: The Overlook is just east of 130th Street—if you pass it, you’ll reach Overlook II, which is a different development.
