What should we actually be helping our kids learn as technology changes the world around them?

This is a relaxed online conversation for parents, engineers, educators, builders, and anyone interested in STEM, robotics, science, technology, and the future of education.

We’ll talk about questions like:

• Which skills may matter most for kids growing up today
• Where STEM, robotics, engineering, and hands-on learning fit
• How AI may change what education looks like
• Traditional school, homeschooling, alternative education, and learning outside the classroom
• Creativity, problem-solving, communication, and other human skills
• How to encourage curiosity without turning childhood into another résumé-building exercise

You don’t need to be an educator or a STEM expert. This is a conversation for parents and future-focused people who want to exchange ideas, resources, and experiences.
I’ll share a few thoughts to get us started, then we’ll open it up and hear from everyone.

Bring the kids, grab some brunch, and meet other curious, future-focused families from around the Valley.

Futuristic Families Brunch is a casual get-together for parents and families interested in AI, STEM, education, technology, health, and the kind of future we’re building for our kids.

There’s no presentation and no formal agenda. The goal is simply to meet interesting people, let the kids have some fun, and see where the conversation goes.

Luci’s at the Orchard makes this especially easy for families with food, coffee, outdoor space, and a splash pad for the kids. Feel free to bring swimsuits, towels, or a change of clothes if your kids want to play.
We’ll probably end up talking about everything from AI and robotics to education, parenting, health, interesting projects, and what we’re excited about for the next generation.

Kids are absolutely welcome and expected. Don’t worry about finding childcare or keeping everyone perfectly quiet. This is meant to feel like family time and community time at the same time.

There’s no cost to attend the Meetup. Just purchase whatever food or drinks you’d like.

Parents remain responsible for their own children throughout the event.
