Open Sail/Kayak

Ship 936 and Crew 68 are offering a FREE open sailing or kayaking event on Saturdays during July and part of August. Sea Scouts will be available to assist in learning to sail. Sailing spots are limited to the number of Sea Scouts available to help rig boats and teach non-sailors. There are kayaks and paddle boards available, if more youth sign up than we have instructors for. Reserve your spot today.

Ages 11 - 20 only. We will meet at 12:45pm in the ship yard behind the Dana Point Youth and Group Building at Baby Beach.

Parents must stay on site and Scouting America Liability and Health Forms are required for participation. An immunization waiver form is also included, in case you do not immunize. Thank you!
