Wednesday Night Social Scrabble

Come join us to play Social Scrabble every Wednesday at McMenamin's on Broadway and NE 15th in the Lloyd District. There is no charge. Your rsvp is always appreciated. If you have a Scrabble board, please bring it along!

Players of all skill levels are welcome. We have many excellent players so you can expect a good match regardless of your skill level. We play more informally, without the added pressure of a play clock. You may validate a word in the dictionary before your play. The use of a "word finder" search engine is not permitted.

We play two person games, beginning promptly at 5:45. If you rsvp, we will wait a few minutes for your arrival. The first game must be done by 6:55. After the first game, we pair players for a second game based upon scores.

Our official dictionary is the Merriam Webster Official Scrabble Players. Words likely to offend players of the game have been omitted from this edition.

If you want to play by NASPA rules, then you would enjoy playing with the Portland Scrabble Club which is an NASPA sanctioned club. They play on Tuesdays at Kairos-Milwaukie United Church.
