They quickly found the secret crypt of Acererak, and using the keys they found in the correct order, they got the crypt to rise so they could enter it. Bonzo was convinced to put the crown onto the skull and touch the silver nob of the scepter to the crown, which turned the skull into dust. Highly suspicious of how easy that was, they searched the crypt and found the 2nd half of the Amulet of the Void, which when translated told them that "The face of the fiend does more than devour/with the least of my form, tis the path to power." Somehow from this they decided that the face of the fiend was the Devourer mouth with the Sphere of Annihilation in the mouth, and that they need to use the Amulet and the dust from the destroyed demilich to climb into the mouth and move to the next phase in the adventure. So, bravely summoning a few Kobolds, Gyasi tested the theory out and after a bit of a rough start determined that the mouth does not harm those who have some of the dust and are touching someone who is touching the Amulet. So they are going to climb into the "face of the fiend" and see what's on the other side...
