Return to the Tomb of Horrors (part XVII) - ADND Old School

Details
Passing into the Tower of Morning via wormhole, the party avoided the Arch of the Curse which is in the entryway into the Tower of Morning. In this area they found a teleporter to a room in which they discovered a 7-paneled depiction of various scenes relating to the sun - predawn, sunrise, morning, noon, late afternoon, sunset, and dim twilight. All the Paladins wanted to keep it so they took it down, folded it up and put it in Rhyver's bag of holding. Moving on they found a room filled with broken statuary, in which a Moilean Zombie wearing a headband was hiding. The zombie drained a few HP from Colin and Bongo and broke free of the ice charging the party. After a somewhat difficult fight, they moved on to another room in which they found a big stone chair by a window. Bongo decided to wear the headband, and then everyone aasked him to sit in the chair - which he did. He was immediately bathered in the roseate glow of dawn. All damage, fatigue, etc. was restored to him at that moment.
"The seated wearer is suddenly invigorated, as if he or she had just awakened from a full night of good sleep. The character regains three hit points (if wounded), and spellcasters gain the freshness of mind to memorize new spells, even if they have not slept normally for many hours."
Then they entered a hallway proceeding northeast toward massive double doors of frosted iron. The omnipresent ice being much thicker in this hallway. In fact, icicles of very size and length hang in dense clustered over the entire ceiling. Some of the icicles were so long that they have joined their companion stalagmites in the floor, forming columns of frigid ice. At the end of the hall were a pair of iron doors completely covered with ice. Softy created a Wall of Fire that ran the length of the hall, melting all of the ice into a puddle, exposing the sunburst on the double doors. The party is now waiting for Bongo to pick the lock on the doors...
