Bredon loop 5.9 miles - Stroud Foodbank Charity Walk

Details
Once part of the Cotswolds upland, Bredon Hill now stands on its own as a buffer zone between the Cotswolds and the Malverns. This is a splendid walk around the whole bulk of the hill. The views from the summit tower, known as Parson's Folly, are superb.
A hilly start that levels off with well marked paths. Please note that this route can be muddy in wet weather. Whilst we walk at a sociable pace, a reasonable level of fitness is required.
On street parking.
We will start the walk from the Queen Elizabeth pub. The pub opens early, so the early birds can have a coffee or a cuppa before we start. A lovely, well run pub.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. They will be required to be on leads around sheep and livestock.
As usual we just ask for £2.50 donation. All donations received will be paid to the Stroud Foodbank (minus £5 contribution for Meetup Fees) on or before the start of the walk.nominated charity, the Foodbank payable via
PayPal account carolinebolam@yahoo.co.uk - using the Friends and Family option, inserting Foodbank 18/5 as the description). When you sign up, you will be added to our 'waitlist'. onçe we receive your donation, you will be transferred to the 'Going' List. Please note that no refunds are given unless the walk is cancelled or rescheduled.
We intend to finish off with a pint and/or lunch at the Queen Elizabeth pub.
