About us
Scrap Paper Scissors Scrapbook Studio – On the Go!
Scrap Paper Scissors is entering an exciting new season—On the Go! While the physical studio space has closed, the heart of what we created together is still very much alive. Now, instead of gathering in one location, we’re bringing the creativity directly to you through both virtual and in-person classes.
On the Go means flexibility, connection, and fresh opportunities to create wherever we are. From cozy home workshops and pop-up crops to interactive online classes, we’ll continue preserving memories, learning new techniques, and exploring a variety of fun, hands-on activities.
Most importantly, this is still a space for community. It’s about laughter around the table, encouragement in every project, and friendships that grow right alongside our albums. Whether you join from your craft room or a local meet-up spot, you’re invited to create, connect, and enjoy the journey together.
I can’t wait to see where Scrap Paper Scissors – On the Go! takes us next!

We are staying at the Mount Morris Camp and Conference Center (W6016 Blackhawk Road, Wautoma, WI 54982). This is a wonderful get-away, with a large conference room for cropping where you will have your own large table and can leave your items all weekend long. There are individual modern cabins with 5-7 beds and a bathroom area with 2 showers. Each cabin will house 5-7 croppers. These cabins are a short walk from the conference center. Even though the beds are sturdy wooden bunks, each participant has the entire bunk to use as they see fit.Meals times are tentatively set for: Breakfast 8:30 am, Lunch 12pm and dinner 6:00pm (Friday - Sunday Breakfast)
Thursday: Meals on your on (we usually head to a quaint supper club around 5:30 pm)Friday: (Breakfast/Lunch on your own) Dinner
Saturday - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Sunday - BreakfastCropping Room: You will enjoy the use of a table to yourself that can be set up for your entire stay. No need to pack up each evening. There is a refrigerator available in the cropping room for your snacks. There is internet, but sometimes it is spotty and some personal hotspots do not reach this far to the North, so just be aware. There will be prize opportunities throughout the weekend based upon just being there and having fun. We will enjoy time with an fire in the fireplace, idea suggestions with tools in a separate connected room and maybe even build a snowman if there is snow!!
