Come celebrate Scratch Day 2023 with us at an in-person meetup! During the meetup you'll learn about Scratch, how you can use it with your students, network with other teachers who are interested in using Scratch, and participate in hands-on activities. (Why should the kids have all the fun?)

The Scratch programming language was developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is a block-based language that can be used with students as young as second grade, but is sufficiently powerful for students in middle, high school and even college! https://scratch.mit.edu/

The meetup will be held at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield from 10AM-12PM on May 20, 2023. It is completely free and open to all educators. All levels of experience with code and/or Scratch are welcome. A light breakfast will be served. Attendees will be entered for a chance to win a Microbit, which can be used with Scratch!

BYOD!!!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Note: If you realize that you are unable to attend, PLEASE update your RSVP.
