CT Scratch Educator Meetup - Summer 2025

Details
Please join us for some summer PD at a CT Scratch Educator Meetup! During the meetup you'll learn about Scratch, how you can use it with your students, network with other teachers who are interested in using Scratch, and participate in hands-on activities. (Why should the kids have all the fun?)
The Scratch programming language was developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is a block-based language that can be used with students as young as second grade, but is sufficiently powerful for students in middle, high school and even college! https://scratch.mit.edu/
The meetup location be held on Thursday, July 31st from 5-7PM at the Harmony Grange, 103 Hurd Ave. Monroe, CT. It is completely free and open to all educators. All levels of experience with code and/or Scratch are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Bring your own device and any Scratch ideas you would like to share!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Note: If you realize that you are unable to attend, PLEASE update your RSVP.
