Feb. Meeting: Meet the filmmakers of the Holiday Slasher Film "President'­s Day"

Hello Everyone! Very Special treat this snowy February day!

We will be meeting the Writing/ Producing team of the horror film, "President's Day" Chris LaMartina (Director) and Jimmy George, plus some of the members of their cast and crew including Ryan Thomas, an actor and casting director. Chris and his crew will talk about the making of "President's Day" plus show clips from it. The film premiered yesterday (on President's Day!) at the Charles Theatre and sold out the theatre despite the snow!!

Plot Outline: A high school election turns deadly when a homicidal maniac dressed like Abe Lincoln starts killing off candidates.

Ryan Thomas, a cast member and the casting director will also speak. Here's his bio: "A lifelong movie fan, Ryan Thomas is a writer, producer and actor, with an ever-increasing resume of roles in independent films. He has assisted in productions, most recently as Casting Director for Midnight Crew Studios film "President's Day." Ryan works full-time as a Police Officer in Baltimore County, and has used his expertise to consult for scripts and to lend a special authenticity to several of his roles. Ryan plans to continue to work in film as much as possible, and continues writing."
