Send It! November meeting

Our next Send It! meeting will be happening on November 11th!

There's a slight location shift for this month's meeting. We'll still be in the East Liberty Library but in Meeting Room 3B, which is on the upper level (accessible by stairs or elevator, the librarians can guide you if you need help finding it!)

Resources for submitters:

• Submission Quick Guides - includes places to find open submission calls and info on things like cover letters, bios, and navigating the submission process
• Open Calls - curated list of currently open submission calls and contests that the Scribble House folks have our eyes on

We'll have resources available at the event, too, including access to a paid Duotrope account and back issues of print journals so you can check out their style.

What you should bring:

• Your laptop
• Completed work ready for publication (this isn't a critique group--those are helpful, too, but Send It! is focused specifically on the publishing side of the craft)

This will be an informal event, with no scheduled speakers or lectures or whatnot. The idea is to support and learn from each other, with the goal that everyone who comes will send at least 1 submission (or as many as you feel like sending!) by the time they leave.
