Join screenwriter and playwright Conor Kyle for a fun workshop that helps you sharpen your scenework skills in a supportive environment. Our instructor kicks things off with an inspiring prompt and helps everyone brainstorm your ideas for a dramatic scene. You will then write a complete scene in one hour, followed by a live table read and group critique session. Whether you’re an experienced writer or just starting out, you'll be surprised at what you can accomplish in a single session. Leave with a finished, workshopped short screenplay in your hands!

About the Instructors:
Conor Kyle has written for Shudder's Creepshow (2019) and placed twice in the Nicholl Fellowship with his scripts “Peter and the Wolves” (quarterfinals, also Launchpad top 10) and The Tube (semifinals). His screenplays have also been featured on the annual Hit List, Young & Hungry List, Spec Book, and on Tracking Board’s “Best Writers of the Year” booklet.
