Hi all, please join me for an online lecture/discussion on the "The Hero's Journey wherein will discuss various aspects/stages of Joseph Campbell's infamous "The Hero's Journey" to include: -

ACT 1 - SEPERATION

1. Ordinary World
2. Call to Adventure (Inciting Incident)
3. Refusal of the Call
4. Meeting with the Mentor
5. Crossing the Threshold
6. Tests, Allies, Enemies
7. Approach

ACT 2 (A) - A DESCENT

8. Central Ordeal (Midpoint, Death & Rebirth)

ACT 2 (B) - INITIATION

9. Reward
10. The Road Back
11. Resurrection (Climax)

ACT 3 - RETURN

12. Return with Elixir (Denouement)

We will also discuss certain films that fall within the hero's journey
to include: -

Star Wars (Episode IV: A final hope)
An Officer and a Gentleman
The Wizard of Oz
Beverly Hills Cop
Rambo: First Blood
ET
