Different Ages, Shared Space: Rethinking Generations at Work with Francesco

Details

In today’s rapidly evolving workplace, organizations are navigating a growing challenge: how to build productive, inclusive teams across generational lines. With Gen Z entering the workforce in increasing numbers—and bringing with them new expectations, tools, and communication styles—many older employees and managers are reporting discomfort, uncertainty, and even tension.

This 40-minute, research-informed, highly interactive workshop invites participants to explore these generational dynamics in an open, engaging format. By combining your real-time feedback with data-driven insights, we’ll examine how generational divides – both actual and perceived – shape workplace culture, productivity, and morale. Participants will engage directly with current studies and trends, and reflect on their own roles in fostering or repairing generational trust.

The session will also introduce GenZen, a start-up focused on creating meaningful intergenerational exchange through mentoring, dialogue, and skill-sharing. GenZen is a collaborative, evolving concept, and we invite participants to imagine what effective cross-generational connection could look like in their own organizations.

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the generational challenges at play today, a few myths busted, and a small but meaningful nudge to act.
