Team culture. Self-managed teams. Team spirit. A culture of failure... We’re all familiar with those terms and I highly believe that many of us also know what they’re supposed to tell us. But, have we really understood them? Do we live by them? Should we live by them? Why should we care about’em at all? I, for myself, believe that the answers to those questions lie within each and everyone of us. So get ready for some storytelling time that will take us far away from the land of software development and instead join me on cruise to learn about the most successful plane crash in the history of aviation, the importance of an unimportant Swedish engineer history nearly forgot and one of the biggest crisis in the US pharma industry.

Bio: Sebastian works as a Software Architect at Deutsche Telekom, after some time developing backend applications with Java and PHP he became a citizen of the JavaScript world. Recently he´s getting his hands dirty with all things “cloud”. For the last 12 years Sebastian tries to improve our lives, working on Deutsche Telekoms Smart Home, teach software development to kids as well as dabbling with conferences, user groups and all things community.
