Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach: Free Divers Day!

We will learn all about the history and recent advancements in diving at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s thirteenth annual Divers Day. Doors open at 9:00. There will be educational presentations, live dive demonstrations, and more. The Aquarium will also host a large range of organizations that are related to the sport and science of diving. The diving community is invited to find out about volunteer diving and other opportunities for involvement with dive-related organizations in Southern California. Divers who present valid proof of certification with their photo I.D. will receive free admission. At 11:30, Let's Meetup at the eclectic Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co. restaurant just across the street from Aquarium of the Pacific and have an amazing lunch.

About Lunch: Please mention in the comments section if you plan on having lunch with us. I have reserved space in the banquet room for 20. If I know early enough, I can increase that number. PARKING: There are parking lots around this venue, $8 all day with validation from The Aquarium. Get there early for easier parking!
