For anyone who wants to test the waters, this is the Scuba Discovery Program. It gives you a glimpse into what you can expect to see in the underwater world as well as what you could expect to learn in the Scuba Diver Course. You will be shown the basic safety procedures for scuba diving under the watchful eye of an instructor. You will learn skills like equalizing your ears, buddy checks, basic buoyancy control, underwater communication and an introduction to basic scuba equipment and scuba skills followed by an underwater dive in the pool. If you enjoy this experience then the Open Water Scuba Diver course is your next step.

What's Required?
• A curiosity about scuba diving
• A swimsuit and a towel
If you have a mask, snorkel, and fins, bring them.
If not, we'll loan you ours – we will provide everything else!
If all spots are filled get on the waiting list we may run a 2nd session that day

Please note that the entrance to the pool where "Try Scuba" is being held is located in the rear parking lot of the Lodi Boys and Girls Club.
