Try a New Place - line-dancing optional

Lucky Luke is a local brewing company with three locations. (The other two are in Palmdale and Lancaster.) Our location has a large outdoor space, with some shade, and a smaller indoor space, as well ass two covered patios. There is a good variety of beer and usually one seltzer cocktail.

They host a number of special events each month - weekly trivia (on Mondays), live bands (most weekends), comedy (the last Thursday of the month), and almost daily food trucks. Check out their website for more details.

Once a month, they also have line dancing - to country and non-country music. This month, that falls on Saturday, May 24th. Hosted by DJ and instructor Anaise, there will be lessons throughout the evening. Many attendees have never tried it before, so don’t be afraid to come and give it a shot.

Parking is scarce, so if you don’t find a spot in their small lot, you can park along the road. (PS - It’s in a strange location, but trust your phone/car’s navigation. It will get you there!) Walk around to the back of the building, and that’s where all the fun is.

On weekend afternoons, many people bring their families or host parties and get togethers, so don’t be surprised if you see small children early on. (They will also be learning the dances, so you can rest assured you can learn them!)

I will try to arrive early to stake out a table for our group. And I will plan to have a sign so you can find us. Look for me near the dance floor (or possibly on it, depending on when you get there)!
