It’s time to play ball! Grab your family and friends and join the East Village Association's 14th Annual East Village Opening Weekend Block Party. Taking place on J Street from 6th to 10th Avenue in front of Petco Park, this event brings all that East Village has to offer to the Block Party, including local small businesses, live music and entertainment, a multi-block car show, tasty bites, local retail vendors, photo opportunities, a variety of fun family-friendly activities, and of course, a celebration of East Village’s very own San Diego Padres.
All ages are welcome to this free festivity, making it the ideal way to celebrate both the community and our beloved team. The Block Party will feature numerous local San Diego vendors, whose offerings will be unveiled soon, amidst the live music and entertainment-packed streets. So bring all the baseball lovers in your life down to East Village for a fun-filled day you will never forget!

## Wiffle Ball Derby presented by Bay Bros. Wiffle League

This is an experience you won’t want to miss, whether you’re watching or playing! Swing by the Derby field at 9th & J to catch exciting games happening all day. Want to step up to the plate? Stop by the Bay Bros. Wiffle League booth at the corner of 9th & J to sign up for your game slot. Space is limited, so arrive early to secure your spot and be part of the action. Fun, friendly competition, and plenty of excitement await you, come join the Derby!

## Hot Rod & Lowrider Car Show presented by Truly Nolen Pest Control

East Village is turning up the energy with a high-octane showcase of classic hot rod cars and custom lowriders by Impalas Car Club San Diego. Anchoring both ends of the Block Party at J & 6th and J & 10th, this impressive display invites you to experience a stunning lineup that celebrates the rich automotive history and vibrant culture of San Diego.

## Margaritaville San Diego It's A Vibe Zone

Margaritaville San Diego is bringing the party from the hotel straight into the street. Stop by the Margaritaville It’s A Vibe Zone on J between 6th & 7th and dive into interactive experiences like the Margaritaville State of Mind interactive art activation, face painting, a photo booth, and Spin-to-Win prizes at the info booth. This block is the vibe, featuring live music on the Margaritaville San Diego stage, shaded seating to kick back and relax, and classic muscle cars on display throughout.

## East Village Block Party Tasting Passport

Sip your way through the Block Party with the Tasting Passport—your all-access pass to featured bites and sips around the neighborhood. Start at Margaritaville Hotel San Diego (J Street entrance between LandShark Bar & Grill and Margaritaville Coffee Shop), grab your passport, and collect stamps at each stop along the way. Complete your passport and return for a reward! Tastings are:

## Live Mural Installation by Brisk One

This year, be sure to stop by J & 8th to watch San Diego’s own Brisk at work, an abstract artist known for canvas paintings, graffiti lettering, graphic design, and large-scale murals. Brisk will be creating a custom, temporary mural on a stretched shrink-wrap canvas. Swing by to see the mural come to life, and return afterward for the perfect solo or group photo opportunity!

## Pet Swag Show & Contest presented by EVRG

Does your pet have style, swagger, or that extra drip? Bring them to the Cal Coast Credit Union Community Stage at J & 8th at 12:30pm or 3:00pm for the Pet Swag Show & Contest! Enter for a chance to win amazing East Village San Diego prizes generously provided by local East Village businesses. Arrive early to register your furry (or feathery!) friend and snag a prime spot. This is your pet’s moment to shine, strut their stuff, and show off their ultimate swag!

## Flow & Flex Physical Activities

The Cal Coast Credit Union Community Stage is the place to keep checking in at...it has it all! You won't want to start your morning and kick-off of the Opening Weekend Block Party with out a good stretch and flow session with Yoga Box at 11:00am. Circle back later in the day for a Physical Fitness Contest presented by East Village's newest fitness studio - Heroic Athletic Club at 3:30pm.
