We are an active and social group who like to have fun while enjoying: live music (all genres)/dancing/hanging out; concerts in the park; hiking/fitness/wellness; picnics; karaoke; dining out/happy hours; wineries/breweries; museums; book clubs; walkabouts/city walks; festivals; water sports/sailing/cruises; local trips; camping/adventure; holiday celebrations/parties/get-togethers.
Please note that, while we use the word "singles" in our group name, this is primarily a group for coming together with others for fun activities and couples are welcome at our events.

Cost: Free- Join members from the San Diego Astronomy Association at the far end of the Kumeyaay Lake Campground’s Day Use Parking Lot to view the nighttime sky through telescopes. They set up at dusk in the day-use parking lot, which is just to the right after you enter the campground. There is a nice first quarter moon near zenith and the planet Mars. Also look for the two stars Castor and Pollux nearby. Jupiter is still visible in the West over the mountains. The Winter constellations are almost gone, so catch a last look at the constellation Orion with its large star forming region. This is a good night to see the Double Cluster in Perseus. This is a set of open clusters close together in the constellation Perseus in the direction of Cassiopeia. Cancellations due to weather may occur.
