Alex Guillen, who led our October AI in Film panel, is running a hands-on workshop for creatives on Saturday, April 25 at Expressive Arts San Diego. 10 AM to 2 PM, 30 seats.
If you've ever spent more time chasing funding, writing grant narratives, and submitting to festivals than actually making your film, this is for you. Alex built AI systems around his music business that handle the operational grind without losing his voice. This workshop shows you how to do the same thing for yours.
What you'll work on:
- Grant narratives and filmmaker statements that don't read like ChatGPT wrote them
- Festival submissions without copy-pasting the same bio into 40 different portals
- Cold outreach to reps, producers, and collaborators that sounds like a human sent it
- Script development support: loglines, treatments, and coverage notes on your terms
You'll leave with a working system, not theory. No tech background needed.
