This Friday is the kickoff for the 2026 San Diego 48 Hour Film Project competition, where teams compete to make a film in a weekend. Teams are randomly assigned genres, a prop, a line, and a character they must integrate into their films. The films must be written, filmed, edited, and submitted by Sunday evening.
