Woodson Mountain Via Fry Koegel Trail * Moderate

Come with Roxy and me as we hike up to Potato Chip. This is a moderate hike that I enjoy because half of it is shady. It is 7 miles, so be sure you and your pup are both prepared for that.

(You are welcome to come with us even if you don't have a dog that day.)

Bring plenty of water and snacks for your both! Your dog must be on a leash. All of Carmen's rules apply.

Come early and park on the street. Sometimes that map is off. For reference, if you are coming from Iron Mountain, the guardrail where the trailhead is located will be on your left before the crossroad. I usually do a u-turn and then park.

Please remove your dog from the rear of the car or the side that does not face the street. Walk the dog to the trailhead behind the guard rails, where we will meet. Please do not linger with the pups out near the street. thx.
