4 mi Update plz read location: Marvin Gerst Trail with dogs (AKA Donkey trail)

This Flat, 4 miles, slower pace and dog stroller friendly). This it is an out/back trail with no elevation. This is primarily a Bridle trail and we may see horses or donkeys along the way. If your dog is reactive to horses, this is not a good hike for you. There are no views it's just a nice walk for everyone. We will meet in front of Starbucks. Our cars will be safer in the lots in that area and we will be able to use a restroom prior to our hike. Please navigate to the address on the meeting location. If you would like to add more mileage to our hike we can hike up Del Mar Mesa just up the road from the Marvin Gerst trail. Let me know at the start of this hike if you want to do that with me.

PLEASE ask dog owners before allowing your dog to come face to face with another dog. No sniffing dogs or sharing a water bowl unless you are comfortable with that.

We will meet by the trailhead near the parking lot. There are no facilities in this area so please plan accordingly. Please pack water for yourself and your dog and sun protection. This meetup does not allow dogs "off-leash" as it is a liability to the group.

San Diego Hiking Ladies & Walking with Dogs

This group is for ladies & their dogs only and participants must sign up as a member of this hiking group. Friends, Spouses, significant others & children are not allowed. Dogs must be 8 mos old and fully vaccinated. No retractable leashes allowed. Pet parents must be 18+ to join.
