6 mi Easy - Seaside Coastal hike & back with dogs
Details
Join me & my dogs on a coastal walk from Solana Beach to Encinitas. If it is low tide, we will walk along the beach but dogs must be leashed. We will meet in front of Claires Too by the picnic tables. There are beach restrooms at Cardiff Beach, a restroom and campground restrooms along the way. We will take water breaks as necessary. We will start no later than 10 mins after the posted start time. If you are lost call: 858-735-4527. Please bring water for yourself and your dog. We will cross the highway and walk on the west side on towards the Cardiff Kook. You're welcome to return to the start at this point if you like. That will make your walk 4 mi rt. We will cross the street at the Kook and walk on the east side of the highway along the coastal rail trail. We will go as far as Encinitas and return to our start. If you prefer to walk along the highway you can bring a stroller. Some of us may walk on the beach but walking along the highway is an option that others may take.
