Easy 6 mi Shelter Island & Bessemer Path + SD Bay to Kellogg Beach

Join me & my pups on one our favorite out & back walks from Shelter Island thru Bessemer Path along SD Bay to Kellogg Beach. Non-dog owners welcome. Half of this walk is on sidewalks and on a dirt path and some will be on the sand at Kellogg Beach. We will have a restroom at start & restrooms along the way. Meet at the small park by the Friendship Bell On Shelter Island as noted on the map/pin below. There should be plenty of parking at this time of the day. We will kick off NLT 5 min after posted start time. Please pack plenty of water & sun protection for you and your dog. Optional stop for Coffee at Portside Gelato & Coffee which is along the way to our destination. We will stop there on our way back. If you want to continue to the start let me know. There are tables & chairs & a nice outdoor patio & a restroom for customers. The time for this event doesn't include stopping for coffee.

be aware that there maybe locals who allow their pets off leash at the beach but this beach does not allow dogs "off-leash". .
