SD Ruby Monthly Meeting
Details
FEATURED TALKS FOR FEBRUARY:
Ylan Segal - "Bug Driven Design"
Have you ever gotten a bug report that is hard to believe and seemingly impossible to reproduce? Fixing these type of bugs can be draining, but often improves your understanding of the system. Come and learn how the process of writing a regression test and paying attention to the structure of your code can drive improvement. Let me show you, step by step, how I ended with code that is easier to understand, follows project conventions and is easier to test.
Ben Wanicur - "Solving Schema Bloat with JSONB"
Do you feel like your database has too many non-essential columns ? Your DB could be suffering from schema bloat. Learn how to address it using JSONB (Postgresql) and a few Ruby gems.

How to create a Jekyll blog, style it, and host it on GitHub Pages
