When almost anything runs on Javascript, using a Javascript engine instead of a less comfortable language has never been easier. But what happens when your engine-environment Javascript needs tests? Web developer Kaitlin Abrahamson will walk us through the pros and cons of using engine-based Javascript with an eye on what that means for testing, and what your options are for making sure your test coverage stays robust.

We meet the first Thursday of each month.

We'll start with networking over pizza and soda at 6:00.

Around 7:00, we'll jump in with a featured talk or two, and throw in some lightning talks and giveaways.

By about 8:30, we'll go out for beers and more networking.
