The San Diego Air & Space Museum - Its Free (Second Tuesday)

Details

ARRIVE EARLY TO GET PARKING. WE WILL MEET IN THE FRONT at the Time Noted on this event. -This is a No Host event

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is free to San Diego County residents, students, active duty military and military dependents**.** All adult guests must show a valid ID proving SD County residency, student ID or military ID for free admission. Special Exhibitions, the 3D/4D Theater and the Simulators are not included in the free entrance.

We can then CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING:

  • Museum of Photographic Arts: This is a "pay-what-you-wish" museum, which was started in 1972 as a museum without walls, and later moved into a custom-designed building in Balboa Park in 1983.
  • San Diego History Center: Established in 1928 by local philanthropist George Marston, this museum is one of the oldest of its kind on the West Coast. It moved from its original home on Presidio Hill to Balboa Park in 1982.
  • Veterans' Museum and Memorial Center: This museum was formed in 1989 to honor military veterans.

WE CAN walk our beautiful Balboa Park, perhaps see some of the trails together. Optional lunch at the Prado?
