Pop Music- how to write, arrange, and perform it. Guest Speaker Bart Mendoza

Bart Mendoza has been playing music in San Diego since the late 1970’s, with a worldwide discography that includes such groups as Manual Scan, The Shambles and True Stories. He is also a music journalist whose features can be found in The Reader, The San Diego Troubadour, The Peninsula Beacon and other publications. Bart will talk about writing, arranging and performing pop music, as well as discussing various ways to promote your music once it’s released.
As always, we will give you an opportunity to share an original song either live or pre-recorded. Bring what you think is one of your Pop songs and Bart will give you some helpful suggestions and accolades.
