SE London Friends Calendar of Events

This is a group for lesbians, bisexuals and gay men who have joined the South East London Friends group - a group of likeminded individuals who support the LGB Alliance.

This Meetup group - like the SE London Friends group itself - is free to join. There is no annual subscription but members pay for their own entry fees, tickets and meals at events.

Its aim is to provide information about events to improve members' social lives. Listings organised by the SE London Friends include art galleries, pub socialising, walks, theatre and more. The events are mainly held in London and there's a regular pub evening in Borough.

These listings used to be sent to members by means of a monthly email attachment. Meetup opens up the opportunity for a much more interactive approach where members can sign up to events, see who else is going, leave messages on the event, upload photos and so on.

The events are designed to reduce social isolation and provide a welcoming platform for relaxed meetings and new friendships with likeminded individuals.
