Come join us for fun-filled weekly badminton matches in Nunhead! Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or a seasoned player, everyone is welcome to join and play.
Newbies are especially welcome. We'll be positive and encouraging if you're just learning, or picking up a raquet again after a long hiatus. We've got four courts in total and usually play mixed doubles. We'll rotate players after every game so everyone gets a good variety of play. If there enough new beginner players we can set aside one of the courts for them.
£10/session, or £5 for teens. Can pay by cash or bank transfer, bank details can be provided at the court. We'll provide feather shuttlecocks, and might have a spare racquet but please inquire first.
Venue is Haberdasher's Sports Hall, St. Asaph's Road, SE4 2EA. Nearest train stations are Nunhead and Brockley. We are here almost every Thursday night, 8-10pm.
Toilets, water fountain, bike parking, free on-street parking for cars are available.
