In-Person Kayak Club Meeting at Trout Lake Community Centre

The Sea Kayak Association of BC is holding an in-person meeting to kick off the paddling season. Forty or fifty club members expected to attend. We're also adding 20 Meetup group spots so it's a great chance to check out our club.
Doors open at 7:15 allowing time to socialize. Then join long-time SKABC club members, Susan J and Maureen B as they guide us through interactive activities to get to know each other and welcome new faces to the group.

Taking Rescues from Passive to Dynamic Environments – facilitated by Maureen
Susan is Membership Chair for SKABC. Maureen is both Safety Officer and Trips Planning Officer for SKABC. She has attended many courses on kayak rescue training and incident management at symposia and with Body Boat Blade on Orcas Island.
Light refreshments – please bring your own mug.
