SeaBronies gears up for its most ambitious voyage yet, which will take us from the storied city of New Orleans to exotic Mexican ports, where we will make an excursion to ancient Mayan ruins! The runaway favorite in this year's poll (https://www.meetup.com/SeaBronies/polls/1215481/), this is set to be an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Sweetening the deal is the choice of departing port! New Orleans (http://www.cruisecritic.com/ports/newport.cfm?ID=53) is an absolutely one-of-a-kind city, and is experiencing a strong resurgence in the decade since Hurricane Katrina. There will be ample time to enjoy beignets in the French quarter while sipping coffee and people-watching the city's always lively crowds. Laissez les bon temps rouler (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/laissez_les_bons_temps_rouler)!
We will meet up in New Orleans on January 2nd, the day before the cruise (beginning at 7:30 PM at the famous Cafe du Monde (https://www.yelp.com/biz/caf%C3%A9-du-monde-new-orleans-12)), but don't worry: If you can't make it until the day of the cruise, THAT IS OKAY! We will provide full instructions to the cruise docks here. (Watch this space!)
