Local Trading Session

Meetup suggestion. Let's get together to buy and sell some Bitcoin, share ideas and knowledge, and get to know others in the Seattle area interested in Bitcoin. Newcomers are welcome so invite a bit-curious friend to come along.

You might have heard about Buttonwood and Satoshi Square events happening in NYC, SF, and LA so why not here in Seattle? I doubt there will be any yelling but the idea is to have an outcry Bitcoin exchange Meetup. Part of the agenda for this first session will be figuring out what makes sense from an ask/bid standpoint so expect a little sausage making while we get this figured out together. If it works out it’ll be awesome and we can do more. If trading flops it’ll still be a good chance to talk to other locals interested in Bitcoin.

The venue has snacks, coffee drinks, beers on tap, WiFi, and there is a Verity credit union ATM within 8 feet of the door (part of the same ATM network as BECU). I’ve been emailing the owner and he says after 2PM would be a good time for the Meetup and he could set aside some tables for us if we have 6+ RSVPs. They close at 6PM so let’s kick things off at 2:00 to ensure we can get an adequate amount of time for this.
