April Book Club: Ordeal By Hunger by George R. Stewart @ Garrison City Beerworks

The book we will read and discuss at this book club will be: Ordeal By Hunger: The Story of the Donner Party By George R. Stewart. This was nominated by Jenny. It's a nonfiction read and I assume, due to the nature of this famous story, that there will be some descriptions that could be gory or graphic. Just a heads up for those that have issues with that stuff.

We're going to meet at Garrison City Beerworks. They have beer, NA options, and some light food. If for some reason they have an event, Otto in Dover will be our backup. I'll call ahead to find this out beforehand and I will update the page if the venue changes.

When the weather gets warmer in the summer months, I'll try for some outdoor venues as well to mix things up.

I moved the start time to: 5:30pm as the bulk of the people get there by then and if we have to pivot to Otto, we can get a table together. We won't dive into talking about the book until the bulk of the RSVPs show up.
