Outdoor Concert! (Hampton Falls)

Join the FUN!!!! This evening is the "kickoff" for the season! The Akwaada Ensemble will be bringing African drumming and dance to vivid life, holding sway with the rich and subtle rhythmic patterns and styles specific to different tribal groups of West Africa
to The Hampton Falls/Common Bandstand! If you love percussion, this show shouldn't disappoint! Please don't forget to bring a chair or blanket for seating... Read "about" below for more info regarding food/beverages.

MUSIC: The AKWAABA ENSEMBLE (West African drumming and dance)
TIME: 6:00 - 8:00 PM (Meet Up time is earlier to socialize etc.)
Music begins at 6:30
COST: free ( they may possibly ask for donations. ALL money goes to future concerts/betterment

WHERE TO MEET UP: Due to the type of event the best I can do is that once I find a spot, add the exact location to the event comments.

PARKING: Free parking can be found on-street around the common if you arrive early enough. Otherwise, across both streets there are free lots.

* ABOUT: These concerts are held at the bandstand in the common at Hampton Falls. They are well-attended-it's possible they will roll out a dancefloor so people can dance. They usually have 1-2 Food Trucks ( maybe more) , ice cream etc. But you can bring your own picnic supper/snacks and beverage. This venue is on town property, open to all and no alcohol is allowed. So please don't bring any. Thanks for your understanding : - ) Please bring a chair or blanket for seating.

THE WEATHER: Rain will cancel this event as a Meet Up. There really isn't any shelter -also the band won't play if it's too wet. Therefore if the weather is questionable please be sure to stay in the loop for updates.
